De-clutter

A healthy happy home begins with organisation. Get rid of clutter; create storage, hidden as well as display.

Be sure that the space accommodates every family member and their needs, and that there is a piece of furniture or accessory item that each member can resonate with.

Childrens play area

Children need to have a designated space for playing in a family room. Lighting is extremely important in a room, get as much natural light in as possible.

Lighting

If natural light is limited; when designing the rooms, think about the tasks that will take place in each room and design your lighting accordingly; dimmable LEDs can adjust to the mood you want to create. The happy family space must also be warm and cosy, address heating and ventilation from the onset.

Comfort

Carpets are warm, however underfloor heating with a rug is great for the hard floor lovers. Seating should be sufficient for the family as well as guests, a sectional deep corner sofa is always a winner. Finally but most importantly love makes a happy home, so design it with love.
