Designed for Kids is an online store ran by parents, they sell some amazing furniture and accessories for kids rooms, with the practical needs of children and parents in mind. We met with Sarah at Designed for Kids, she was kind enough to share her top favourite pieces:

1. The Annie Four-Poster bed, as it’s a little girl’s dream to be a princess and this would make them feel like a princess every night. The pretty hearts and swirls are a lovely touch and you can add curtains for a truly magical look. Plus, as it starts from only £249 it won’t break the bank!

2. The Manhattan sofa-bed is uber-cool and perfect for teenagers’ rooms. You can recline one or both arms. Click-Clack technology allows it to transform between three positions and the hidden support legs make the small double bed robust and comfortable. It’s available in black or white, so it will fit into many colour schemes.

 3. The Union Jack rug is warm, colourful AND patriotic. It’s also hand-tufted from luxurious 100% wool and has a hard-wearing backing, so it’s perfect for kids’ rooms.

4. The Tweet wing chair is perfect for a little one to snuggle on with a teddy or a book.

It’s built traditionally, using luxury padding over a solid wooden frame, but has a modern twist with this bright and cheerful fabric.

5. Last but not least is our Stars quilt.

We found it hard to choose our favourite bedding item, but this one came on top as it’s one that both boys and girls adore. The quilted stitching radiates from the applique stars to create lovely geometric patterns.
