In this article, we offer Miranda Jessop (Home style editor, Sheengate Publishing) some tips on designing a child’s bedroom. We advised her that the top 4 priorities when planning a child’s bedroom include “safety, comfort, engagement & practicality”. The next thing to consider is to “think like a child” when designing a space for them, it wouldn’t make sense to implement things that you may like as an adult as it may not be practical for a child. MK Kids Interiors touched on current trends and to always “be creative”, although it may be challenging, gifting a child a space they thought only existed in their dreams is an achievement worth celebrating.
