Creative Easter Workshops for Kids
Celebrate the Easter holidays with a series of creative and engaging workshops for children, designed to inspire imagination, explore sensory needs, creativity and confidence. Hosted by MK Kids Interiors, these sessions give children the opportunity to explore art, design, sensory play and wellness in the most beautiful children’s furniture showroom in North West London.
Wellness Drumming with G’Nia for Children
Thursday April 2nd, 11-12pm, £8 per child
A joyful and energetic wellness drumming session where children explore rhythm, movement and sound, with drums and other musical instruments. Guided by Wellness Artist G’Nia, children will explore how drumming can support creativity, focus and emotional wellbeing while having lots of fun making music together and dancing.
Suitable for: Children who enjoy music, rhythm and movement. Toddlers upwards. Mums have joined previously with babies.
Feltball Garland Making for Children
Friday April 3rd, 11-11:30pm, £7
Children will create their own colourful felt ball garland to decorate their bedroom or play space. This hands-on craft workshop encourages creativity, colour exploration and fine motor skills while producing a beautiful handmade decoration to take home. Children will be using needles, yarn and scissors.
Suitable for: Children who love arts and crafts. Ages 4+, younger children can be supported by an adult.
Slime Making
Saturday April 4th, 1pm- 2pm
A favourite among children, this slime making workshop allows children to experiment with textures, colours, glitter and scents, to create their own personalised slime. It’s a fun sensory experience that encourages creativity and playful exploration.
Suitable for: Children who enjoy sensory and hands-on activities. Ages 3+
Abstract Art for Children
Sunday April 5th, 1pm- 2pm
In this inspiring abstract art workshop, children will explore colour, shapes and expression, through water colour techniques, while creating their own unique artwork. The session encourages confidence, imagination and artistic freedom, with each child taking home their finished masterpiece.
Suitable for: Young creatives and budding artists. Ages 3+
Thursday April 9th, 11am – 12pm – Wellness Drumming with G’Nia for Children
Back by popular demand, this uplifting drumming workshop by Wellness Artist G’nia invites children to experience the power of rhythm and sound. Through guided activities and playful beats, children will build confidence, coordination and a sense of connection through music. Toddlers upwards. Mums have joined previously with babies.
Bath Bomb Making for Children
Friday April 10th, 11am – 12pm
Children will learn how to create their own colourful, scented bath bombs using safe and fun ingredients. This creative workshop blends science and craft, allowing children to mix, shape and design bath bombs they can take home and enjoy.
Sensory Play for Toddlers
Saturday April 11th, 1pm-2pm, £7
A gentle and engaging sensory play session designed especially for toddlers. Little ones will explore textures, colours and interactive play stations that support early development, curiosity and creativity in a safe and stimulating environment.
Suitable for: Toddlers and young children.
Interior Design Workhop for Children
Sunday April 12th, 12- 2pm, £50
A unique and inspiring interior design workshop for children, where young creatives will learn the basics of designing their own dream bedroom or play space. Children will explore colours, layout ideas, mood boards and styling concepts in a fun and educational session hosted by MK Kids Interiors.
Perfect for children who love design, creativity and imagining beautiful spaces. Ages 8+
Spaces are limited for each workshop to ensure a calm and creative experience.
