Description

Join us for a Black History Celebration with our very own British Jamaican hero- Dwayne Fields FRGS – UK CHief Scout, Explorer, Author, TV Presenter; for a scout Treat – A Kids Nature Trail and Crafting session.

Dwayne Fields is a British explorer, naturalist, and motivational speaker known for his inspiring journey from inner-city London to the icy wilderness of the Arctic. Born in Jamaica and raised in the UK, he overcame a challenging upbringing marked by violence and adversity to become the first Black Briton to walk over 400 miles to the Magnetic North Pole in 2010. Passionate about connecting young people with nature, Dwayne co-founded the #WeTwo Foundation, which takes underprivileged youth on life-changing expeditions to show them the power of adventure, resilience, and environmental stewardship. Through his television work and advocacy, he continues to inspire others to explore the outdoors and believe that no dream is too far out of reach.

Dwayne’s autobiography Exploring My Limits is highly recomended and inspirational for both young teens and adults. Dwayne is also in the process of publishing a comic book for children – Dwayne Fields is Cimarron.
